My Husband and I made our first trip to Santa Fe with another couple this past weekend. Our friends had been their several times before but they left the accommodation planning to me. I was lucky enough to find Jeannine's charming house. It was amazing, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and really the highlight of our Santa Fe experience. Being a 10 minute walk from the square, we used our car once the whole trip to make it out to Trader Joe's. We walked everywhere else, dinner, Starbucks, bars, and the Farmer's Market. Jeannine was kind, helpful, and so quick to respond. A sincerely wonderful woman. When you book this house I would highly recommend you call "dibs" on the Master bedroom (the bathroom has a rain shower and heated tile floors) every person in my group took a turn warming their toes! Our friends who came with us, Santa Fe regulars, said it was hands down the best place they had ever stayed; surpassing El Dorado and La Posada. When a couple of Margarita heavy nights lead us to stay in one night we were so grateful to have the space to hang out to together, make dinner, and have a couple of drinks. Really, could not have asked for more. Thanks Jeannine!
In one word, Shangri-la!!!

Beautiful, convenient to downtown Santa Fe, extremely well stocked with anything a visitor might want with one exception...a large hammock on the patio for afternoon siestas! I loved this old adobe home with its beautifully decorated rooms and lovely patio for outside dining and cool evening visits over a glass of wine. Being within walking distance of most of historic Santa Fe made it so convenient to get a bit of exercise while enjoying the narrow streets and beautiful shops and restaurants.
best place to stay in santa fe!

Such a sweet, comfortable adobe house! The master bedroom and bathroom were especially cozy. The kitchen is a casual, warm gathering place with everything you need to cook and visit. The location can't be beat--close to the plaza and the Cowgirl bar and restaurant is right around the corner. We had a great stay!

This house was just perfect. Great location: Less than a mile to the railyard, plaza, restaurants and shopping. Nice, quiet neighborhood.
The house was very neat. I loved looking at all of the artwork and figurines everywhere. The fire places were heavenly. There is one outside, one in the living room, one in the kitchen, and a cast iron stove in the master bedroom. It was so nice cooking a meal in the kitchen, drinking a glass of wine with the fire going and the music on. We spent early mornings drinking coffee by the outside fireplace waiting for the city to come alive. I wish I could live like this every day.

"This home is really beautiful. It's clear the owner of the house has a very artistic eye. I really liked your info about other art in the house. The history is fascinating - you should definitely print it up and leave it in the house. Thanks again for the use of your lovely home, and your hospitality." Sept 2012
